About Me
Lucy Goodin - Class of 2028
My name is Lucy Goodin. I am a student athlete and play for Sting Black ECNL U17 in Dallas, Texas. I live in Collierville, TN and attend Collierville High School where I maintain a 4.0 GPA.
This is my fourth season playing for Coach Mike Orford and Sting Black. I am a 5’8 physical defender with excellent technical ability and equally strong feet. My primary position is center back. I am very comfortable playing anywhere on the back line in a 4 or 3 back. I am also proud of my versatility to play the six as well.

I was very proud to be named to the 2025 ECNL Texas All Conference 2nd Team. Also, I am very excited to have recently been named the Prep Soccer #10 ranked 2028 player in the state of Texas!

Fitness Training
Being strong technically and physically are the two parts of my game that I am most proud of. Since I was little, I have put a lot of work into ball mastery and having great feet. As a center back, I think it is also very important to be strong and physical. I have been training at (ELP) Elite Level Performance (www.elitelevelperformance.com) for over three years. My sister Ava plays soccer for Northwestern University in the Big 10. She got me started at ELP, which specializes in programs designed for college and professional athletes. I train at ELP 3-4 days per week and love it. I also have a lot of fun training with Ava whenever she is home from school.
